Free Mental Health Certification Training
Earn your certification in Mental Health First Aid at no cost! Take part in a free class on March 27 at the ArkansasBlue Welcome Center in Ft. Smith. Through the Mental Health First Aid certification course, you will learn how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. The class will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Take Good Care of Her Women’s Health Fair
Prepare for good health and wellness at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Take Good Care of Her women’s health fair. You will receive preventive health
services and educational materials, as well as enjoy free food and giveaways! Our members will also qualify for $25 in Blue Wellness Rewards by just attending. This is a family-friendly event with a splash pad for kids! Be sure to pack a towel and waterproof shoes to join the fun!

- Breast cancer screenings provided by the UAMS MammoVan
- Blood pressure and blood sugar screenings provided by the Baptist Mobile Health Unit
- Vaccinations provided by Kroger pharmacy, including flu shots and more
- Sign-ups for delivery of at-home chlamydia screening kits
- Behavioral health, substance use disorder, pregnancy, social work, and chronic condition management information
- Women’s health screening recommendations and education
