Earn your certification in Mental Health First Aid at no cost! Take part in a free class on March 27 at the ArkansasBlue Welcome Center in Ft. Smith. Through the Mental Health First Aid certification course, you will learn how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. The class will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
